Leaf Painting

After nap time, Chana and Sammy helped
me water the plant and wanted to paint it,
so we went outside to paint leaves!

First we collected leaves.

Then, we painted them!

Sammy's Ant

While playing outside, we found an ant in the sand box.

We discussed how the outside is their home, just like we have a home. Then, we tried holding it. It was a fast ant!

Sammy was very gentle with it.

Rosh Hashanah

What a great first week!

While we were busy getting used to our new classroom and meeting new friends, we put aside some time to explore Rosh Hashana!

We blew the Shofar, read books about the Holiday, made cards, honey dishes and ate apples in honey!
